Hey, I’m Joseph.
I’m a founder and operator who has spent the past two decades building companies and leading teams through growth, change, and the occasional chaos.
I’ve founded and led multiple companies, helped create more than $100M in enterprise value, and worked across both startups and larger organizations. Some chapters involved fast growth and clean exits. Others involved pivots, restructures, and figuring out what actually holds a company together when conditions change.
I tend to do my best work when things are complex, unfinished, or under pressure. That’s where judgment matters most.
I don’t believe in generic playbooks. I believe in understanding the situation clearly and acting with care.
A consistent thread in my work is values as operating discipline. Not values as slogans, but the principles that shape real decisions when tradeoffs appear. I’ve seen how clear values can accelerate decisions, rebuild trust, and help teams move through moments that might otherwise break them.
Alongside operating work, I write and speak about entrepreneurship, leadership, and the systems behind companies that actually scale.
Outside of business I run a few side quests. Kung fu, music production, and other physical or creative practices help keep perspective. They’re not escapes from the work. They’re part of how I stay grounded in it.
This site is a place for essays and reflections from the field.
